RAMALLAH, July 29, 2012 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies Sunday highlighted President Mahmoud Abbas saying that the Palestinian Authority will succeed in its bid at the United Nations next time.
Abbas said, during a ceremony honoring general matriculation exam students in Jenin, the Palestinian people deserve a state of their own, affirming that PA has all the elements to establish a state.
Al-Quds reported on the Israeli forces’ raiding of the city of Nablus and vandalizing of house of a Palestinian detainee.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam printed photos showing the house that was destroyed by the soldiers.
Al-Quds featured an American electronic website offering a $500,000 award in exchange of a video of US President Barak Obama honoring Palestinian director of the Middle East Institute of Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs, Rashid Khaldi.
