RAMALLAH, July 18, 2012 (WAFA) – Statements by Israel’s Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein that al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem is part of Israeli territory dominated Wednesday’s issue of the three Palestinian Arabic dailies.
Al-Quds highlighted Weinstein’s claims that the Israeli law applies in al-Aqsa Mosque as part of the state of Israel stirring wide Arab and Islamic opposition.
The prime headline in al-Hayat al-Jadida’s front page quoted President Mahmoud Abbas’, during his the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano in Italy’s capital Rome on Tuesday, stressing the importance of achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
