JERUSALEM, June 27, 2012 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was injured seriously on Wednesday by Ma’ale Adumim settlement guard’s fire, who shot the Palestinian while he was at the entrance of the settlement, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said that the guard shot a 33 year-old Palestinian from Bethlehem at the entrance of the settlement, north of East Jerusalem, injuring him seriously. He was transferred to Hadasa hospital in Jerusalem and his condition was described critical.
Israeli police claimed the Palestinian tried to take the guard’s weapon.
