RAMALLAH, June 27, 2012 (WAFA) -The overall producer price index (PPI) for the Palestinian Territory increased by 0.76% in May compared to April, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said Wednesday.
PPI for exported products increased by 0.56%, while PPI for locally consumed products increased by 0.78%, added PCBS.
Changes in PPI for May was traced back to changes in prices of major activities compared to the previous month, including an increase in prices of manufacturing group by 0.08%, and in agriculture goods by 2.14%, while it decreased in fishing by 15.72%, with no changes in mining and quarrying.
