RAMALLAH, June 4, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli prison guards raided section 14 in Ofer military prison, near Ramallah, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club said Monday.

It said in a press release that the guards raided the section at dawn and handcuffed the prisoners after a brutal inspection.

It said the Israeli Prison Service deliberately carries out repressive and humiliating measures against the prisoners for their participation in a hunger strike last month.

Minister of Prisoners Issa Qaraqi said the prisoners threatened to resume the hunger strike if the situation in the prisons does not improve.
