RAMALLAH, June 3, 2012 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Salam Fayyad Sunday commended South Africa’s decision to boycott products that are made in Israeli settlements.

He said, while receiving South Africa’s Representative to the Palestinian Authority Mlungisi Makalima, “We hope that the rest of world’s countries will follow this move and boycott Israeli settlements’ products.”

He praised South Africa’s support to the Palestinian cause and Palestinians’ rights, including the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

On his part, Makalima reiterated his country’s support to the Palestinian Authority and people.
