JERUSALEM, April 25, 2012 (WAFA) – British Foreign Secretary William Hague strongly condemned the Israeli government legalization of three settlement outposts in the West Bank, Wednesday said a press release by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (OFC).
“I strongly condemn the Israeli government’s decision to turn three illegal outposts in the West Bank into settlements. I urged the Israeli government to remove - not legalize- outposts across the West Bank,” said Hague.
UK called on the Israeli government to focus its efforts on a lasting resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict, to which this further shift in settlement policy presents one more obstacle, said the release.
“I call on the Israeli government to rescind this decision,' he concluded.
